------------ the story --------------------------------------------
Morten Henriksen (ex-The Cosmic Dropouts) organized a couple of gigs for The Devil Dogs in Norway in 1993.
Steve Baise met his later wife at one of the shows and then visited Norway quite frequently (for obvious reasons).
The Vikings grew out of Morten's idea to do a Devil Dogs cover band with some friends featuring Steve Baise himself.
Initially called the Devil Frogs they did a few shows everytime Steve returned to Norway, then recording some stuff, etcetera, etcetera.
Morten: "The Vikings were never a real band - just a fun, vacation thing."
